When KD Sports approached me to head up their kneeboard team, I didn’t just want to slap my name on an existing board – I wanted to create something that would represent everything I stand for in this sport.

My Vision, Perfected
The KD Legacy isn’t just another kneeboard – it’s my personal statement on what competitive kneeboarding should be. Drawing inspiration from the legendary twin-tipped Neptune shape that I’ve always respected, I worked closely with KD Sports to create something that would meet my exacting standards.

Every detail matters when you’re charging the biggest wakes on the planet, and that’s why I insisted on starting with KD’s ultralight Procore construction. But I didn’t stop there. While the original Neptune featured a blended layup, I pushed for full carbon fiber construction throughout the Legacy. Why? Because when you’re launching off massive wakes, you need every ounce of energy transfer possible – and carbon fiber delivers that explosive pop that separates good riders from great ones.
